Not sure if anyone already knows, but I saw Shell Rotella T6 is now in 0w-40 flavor too. Same price as 5w-40. I saw it Advance Auto Parts this morning. Not sure if Wally world will begin carrying it too.

cool, I would like to run it in the winter. Hopefully it would make cold starts easier on the engine.

Was it more expensive than the 5W? unfortunately I just stocked up on like 6 gallons of the 5w-40 so I dont really have an excuse to buy any.

Interesting. Based on a bit of poking around via Google it looks like this has been available since 2011 but best I can tell it's typically been sold in bulk (see Amazon for 55gallon drums for example) or in Canada and is advertised for "extreme" cold whatever "extreme" means. Not something I'm likely to ever see for obvious reasons.

You darn Canadians have always had better oil than us... Stop this discrimination, ok? Lol.

Merry Christmas to you too rankom! I like thinner oils, and t6 is a good oil. I'll have to research it a bit, maybe is low ash also.

Best wishes!
