I had the EHM on my 2006 for about 5k miles never had a drop of oil come out the hose! HOW, first I disagreed with the construction of the PCV houseing on top the engine. It you very carefully disassamble the unit, you'll fined a spring that holds the diaphragm in the open position. I removed the spring so the diaphragm is normally in the closed position, until the crankcase has positive pressure to lift it. Also, I ran the hose to the front of the engine bay turning to the drives side, [all of this is under the engine cover] before dropping down under the driver side and wire tied to the frame. I ran the hose all the way back to just before the drives side rear tire. I never had 1 drop of oil fall out! I did fell I may have been losing so mileage not burning the oil vapor so I have resently made another mod. I got the hose fittings to connect the EHM to the intake air filter box. The part were only a few buck at the marine store. I pulled the box out drilled the hole added the parts and cut the hose to fit. Only have about 300 miles on this mod, just looked in the filter box and OMG looks like a drop or 3 of oil have come out. Hope that helps someone out.

PS Truely when I cut the unused hose out from underneath about one table spoon of oil came out "after 5k miles" with a 6.5 qts. per oil change.
I have a used provent200 but I wanted to try and vent it into the air filter box pre-filter and see if how the filter holds up. Please let us know how your filter holds up with this mod!!
I have my EHM strait down on the Lfront side and my girl friend had 2 people in one day say something about it so I am going to run it back by the exhaust and maybe shorten it in the winter, or just drill a hole in the low spot on the first bend down from the engine bay to drain any oil that pools.
