There is no doubt in my mind about the importance of the GDE tune. This FCV thing only makes acquiring it all the more urgent. I wish I'd known about the tune before I wasted time and money installing that EGR.
So...
1. papaindigo I did mean MAP, not MAF. I keep reversing them in my head for some reason. I cleaned the MAP sensor and broke the return block trying to move the hose slightly. I have a side by side photo of my homemade fuel return next to the brass one and will certainly post it below (if I can figure out how) or will send it to you. I got the idea from a LOST member post.
2. Hexus and kjjet I will do the ORM before I drive another inch, thank you. I'll just keep monitoring the codes. Hexus, I don't use 0-40, I use Shell Rotella T6 5-40 Synthetic and the big Eao26 Amsoil oil filter, so hopefully that's making a difference until I get the tune.
3. GDE ECO tune is my big priority for sure. Then I'll be making some of the other mods talked about in the NOOB guide. First one being the EHM or Provent. Then I'll be pulling my Samcos and giving them a thorough clean and inspection. They've been on a year easy by now and without the EHM or provent and with my other issues, they probably need to be checked.
3. Just reading the mods that you guys listed in your profiles, I want to do all of them on my CRD. Especially the upgraded Suncoast TC and the GDE Stage II turbo. I'll admit, I didn't know when I bought the Liberty that it was such a tinkerers vehicle. I like working on my vehicle, but don't really have the time that should be dedicated to the CRD. It's pushing 130K though now, so I'm gonna have to find more time. I also need to find more money so I can mod and upgrade!

Thanks so much for the immensely helpful feedback and expertise.
