If you take into consideration the cost of all the new parts and upgrades, its more than fair. |

I wish you much luck, but I don't see a $12,000 Jeep there. The only 'upgrades' for parts are maybe $1k on the top end. Sorry, but the timing belt and other maintenance don't get added to a value because they were done or done right. I'm sure you love those wheels and the low-profile tires... But I think I speak for much of the CRD crowd, in that those wheels and tires are not optimal for anything other than looks and on-road operation. Sadly, that is a detriment to the value, even though I'm sure they cost you a bundle to buy and put tires on. Minus the wheels, and considering the condition and mileage... $8000-$9000 is the range, and that would be the absolute max. I'm sure KBB will be about 7k, without even looking. |

If you can't handle constructive feedback and advice on how to get your car sold from the helpful members of this forum, yes, it's probably best you delisted it. Good luck. |

I can handle constructive feedback just fine, the problem is jackass like you guys who can't mind your own darn business. I have bought and sold over 1,000 vehicles, KBB is a GUIDELINE, NOT the law. It's my vehicle, and I will price it as I see fit. It's simple really, if you don't want it or you think my price is to high, don't buy it! In addition to that, mind your own freaking business. |

Flash, its people like you who make forums such a pain in the booty. You think you know EVERYTHING, so you act like an booty for no reason. I'm not one to wish bad things on people, but you are seriously pushing your karma |

If you've sold anywhere NEAR "over 1000 vehicles" (that weren't matchbox cars) then you would know two things: one, that buyers will FIRST check KBB as a guide to what they should be paying, and will walk if the price is too far away without a REALLY good reason (that you haven't shown) for the premium... And two: you'd know how to sell a vehicle, and not bring it to the main source of people specifically knowledgeable about every bolt in the specified vehicle, expecting to pull the same unjustified premium over on one of us. We know EXACTLY what it is worth, and what different mods might mean for cost versus value. There was a Canadian loon about a year ago that thought his CRD limited (with 125k miles, IIRC) was somehow worth $24,000. He got all butt-hurt when called on the unreasonable nature of his pricing too. Last I heard, he had lowered the price to 20k, and still had it for sale. Oh, and I call BS on how many vehicles you claim to have sold. Show us your dealership and dealer license if you have one. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |

I offered a guy $12700 for an '06 with 58k miles. He wanted $15995, needless to say its been 9 months now and its still sitting there on his lot, depreciating even more. |

I mean you have to have one to sell more then 3 vehicles in 1 year in CO. |

I'd wager similar laws exist in just about every state. New Hampshire has a real problem with "curb stoning" where actual LICENSED dealers will try to sell individual cars from driveways and vacant corners... But I don't think anyone would be able to shift more than even 50 cars without being noticed by the DMV and visited by the local constabulary. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |

Just check KBB and get your value. Mine shows $9,998 as the value in my area. Once you get your value check your area to see how many crd's are for Sale with in 100miles. If none then you have some leverage on the price. When I picked up my CRD there was only 3 forsale. One 175miles to the North. The other 2 were with in 5 miles of me. One was way over priced. Dealer was asking 4k over blue book. The one up north was right at kbb and the other One was about 1500 above kbb. I tried to work a deal on the one the was over kbb. The deal would not budge. So I went to the other place. They worked with me. I ended up paying 500 over kbb. I was willing to pay that because at the time I was looking I only had the 3 options. I looked for 6months. So price yours based off what in your area and how many are for sale around you. |

Gotta remember also any mods like rims, lift and such actually lower value.A 100% stock vehicle is always worth more then a modified one.Scheduled maintenance being done also does not increase value either. |

Note - this is the 'discussion' section - so it's fair to assume that what's posted will be discussed (personally I'm not impressed with 20's on a Liberty - it can be done but it's hard to do well) I would like to point out that there is a 'For sale' section in the Forum - and it generally doesn't get much feedback. |

Unfortunately the legalization of marijuana in Colorado is demonstrating its effect in this forum, sorry folks that it has spilled outside of our lovely city's borders. |

Don't blame the innocent ganja for that behavior. It is a matter of upbringing and lack of respect of other people... And possibly being dropped on his head repeatedly as a child. |
