Post subject:  Time to sell 06 crd

I've been on this forum for a while and I appreciated everyone's help. My jeep has been at the dealer for some time and they have replaced the lifters, head, wiring harness, and other items. My jeep only has 115k on it. Its finally time to let it go and get a 4 door truck. What do you guys think is a fair price for a 06 sport in good condition with 115k on it. I bought it in Arizona and has been in Arkansas the rest of its life.

$8500 is very reasonable. Dealers in my area have them used for $11500-$12500

Don't sell yourself short. Condition is everything, and going by the KBB number is never a bad thing. The price you get will be somewhere between the "dealer" price and the "private sale - fair condition" price. The better the condition it is in, the closer to the "private-excellent" you get, some mods might add to that... Some mods may detract. Dealers only want to sell bone-stock vehicles, where the private party may appreciate a mod for what it does. Aesthetic mods (rims, body kits, huge subwoofers) are all quite personal and will detract from the value.

I'm not saying your CRD has any of these things (good or bad) just that these are the things that can (and will) affect what someone will pay for your truck. Maintenance items don't add to the value if they are done (sorry) but if they aren't done or aren't done properly... That hurts the value a lot. It all comes down to condition.

Take lots and lots of pictures, put them into a Dropbox photo folder and link it here - we will look and give you an honest opinion. If you don't have a Dropbox account, it is FREE and offers lots of cool things - like an extra 500 MB if you use this referral link to sign up: https://db.tt/EAx8lor

It is black and is bone stock. I haven't done any mods to it bc I still have a factory warranty till December. I will get some pictures up.

If your engine just had all those parts thrown in it and your driveline is in good shape, with good tires, and good body then ............. $9,500 - 11,500, your interior has to be super clean and smell like spring.

I only have one picture of my liberty. It is in good shape. Has new tires on it and has base plates for a blue ox tow bar. I'm sad to see if go but it makes more sense too with my selling my motorhome as well.

I think the market price varies widely by location. People who are content to wait until the right buyer comes along generally get close to asking price around here.

1) I'll never sell mine for less than it's worth.
2) I won't sell to a dummass for any amount.
