Hey fellas, getting ready for good old man winter to come to Wisconsin! I figure I better get the Libby all ready. Here is a list of parts that I'd like to get on before the cold sets in to horribly. Let me know if I am missing or should add something, or maybe something is not needed: 4 x ETECNO 7V Glow Plugs [IDParts] 1 x Intake Elbow Gasket & Seal Kit [IDParts] 1 x Timing Belt Kit [IDParts] - Harmonic Balancer Bolts - Gasket Set - Water Pump Graf 1 x Serpentine Belt Tensioner [IDParts] 2 x Serpentine Belt Roller Idler [IDParts] 1 x Lower Radiator Hose [IDParts] 1 x Hayden 2905 Fan Clutch [Amazon] HOAT Coolant [Parts store] 1 x SunCoast Torque Converter [SunCoast] 1 x TransGo Shift Kit [??] 1 x Trans spin on filter [IDParts] 1 x Trans main filter (flat) [IDParts] 1 x Trans Flow Control Valve [??] AmsOil Syn Transfluid I think that should take care of the longevity drive train stuff. Next will be the good old suspension tune "up"! Looking good so far? |

List looks very good! Consider replacing glow plug wiring harness and glow plug controller. Both are relatively inexpensive. |

My wiring harness had damage to the insulation caused by oil. Its cheap and easy to replace. Some folks recommend replacing the control module every couple of years. The wire harness is not very durable. |

Its like $45 on amazon with free shipping, but i never tow anything substantial and the car never overheats on me. |

My  on the fan clutch. 1. if you have the OEM and tend to overheat a bit replace it. 2. if you have the OEM and don't tend to overheat you can leave it in but you should replace it when you have to pull the fan for like a timing belt job mainly because it's going to die eventually if it has not already done so. |

I'm second guessing the 7v. I mean it doesn't seem like touch money for 5v upgrade. Is it really worth it though? |

I'd refer you to Keith's GDE forum. As I recall, he thought the 5v plugs with flash performed slightly better than the Etecno1 drop in 7v plugs. His opinion was that neither performed as well as OEM, OTOH they won't destruct and jam a valve. |

I would be concerned about 'AmsOil Syn Transfluid' not that Amsoil is bad - just that it's not Mopar +4 (which is also synthetic) The +4 is tuned for the 545 clutches and pressures - and back when lots of folks were changing Torque Converters anything not +4 was an issue. We do have a fair number of AmsOil fanatics onboard - so if someone's used it they can correct this. |

I would stay away from the Amsoil ATF in a CRD. The low RPMs are going to cause you problems in cold weather. Just stick with the good old ATF+4. I had Amsoil in both of mine, and the both had problems with stalling and torque converters locking up. |
