I thought that was a built-in feature to let you know where the dashboard is in the dark. I've never seen one that isn't on. :)

It may work on the beach. . . but that narrow rubber with the weight of an auto diesel doesn't get it in Moab sand.

Unbelievable amount of rust, and in the inside also!
Had it been stuck in the sand, and then flooded with salt water by the tide a few times?

WOW! My PA CRD is pristine, and has no rust. I drive it in the salt and all winter. I also wash it everyday in the winter with hot water or take it to the car wash. That being a TX vehicle, it should not be that bad... even if it was always on the beach. Looks like a lot of neglect unfortunately. The fender flares are shot and missing, and there is massive rust. Even for going on the beach this seems excessive. I agree with JeepDan... has it been flooded by the tide? Looks like it literally lived its entire life on the beach! This is the first Southern vehicle that I have seen with this much rust... Anyhow, GLWS!
