Just got done changing my TB and WP, and want to thank a few guys for associated help:

1. Jim Hulce and Dennis Yazzie were kind enough to let me watch Dennis' TB/WP being changed out. Even though I'm a competent mechanic, it never hurts to watch somebody with experience before attempting a job yourself.

2. A BIG thanks also goes out to Corey @ ID Parts. A couple of years ago, when I was deployed to Iraq with the Air Force, I ordered the parts to do the TB/WP job from Corey. At that time, some of their parts for the job were made by Crown. After continually not being able to do the job because of more short-notice deployments, I finally retired and have been able to stay home consistently. Since my original order, Crown parts fell out of favor and I wanted to not install them. I contacted Corey about this, and he offered to swap all the Crown parts out for OEM items free of charge. THANKS Corey!

Steve

Happy to help out, and I'm really happy to hear about your experience with Corey - I knew he was a stand-up guy already (and said as much at Dennis' place) but even I thought the replacements might be a long shot with the time scale. Corey, you rock.

Everybody should buy their parts from ID parts. Not just because they are all set up as idiot proof kits with all needed parts... But because of after-the-sale support like this.
