Just finished changing the belt doing the keljet( i think) method, belt around crank first with loose cams bolts, tension, then tighten cams.

I noticed a few things during the operation i wounder about
1. My intercooler had the classic oil sutck to it near the inlet, however after thorough cleaning and soap addition there was no bubbles from blowing on it... no noticeable loss in pressure during mouth pressurization.
2. The turbo inlet hose was just fine no tearing...
3. Does the stock non-oil resistant boost hose have orange lining?

It sure is nice to see the temp right at 12 o clock :D

1. not uncommon for CAC hose to weep a bit at the fitting. Drive for a few days retighten clamp, but don't godzilla, or spring for "T" clamps that don't have the weak clamp spot that worm clamps do.
2. mine did not either but my son's went at ca. 35K
3. mine did.

My OEM hoses had black inner linings and both were very soft and somewhat gooey feeling.
Replaced them both with new Red Samco Hoses. Much better! :SOMBRERO:

Yes, the updated OEM intercooler hoses had an orange interior.

Hexus, The stock (crap) CAC hoses have the orange internal lining. Chrysler updated the hose from turbo to CAC and it is all black, they never changed the design of the hose from CAC to intake.
