My 2005 crd front left hose finally failed. I ordered a crown replacement and the fender well fitting is different than the OEM. I cannot locate a hose other than the 3/8 x24 crown fitting. I believe I have a metric fitting which is slightly larger than the crown. Has anyone else had this problem?

I just used the OEM. Not sure why the crown was a different size
