Quick question, how long to swap out the crank sensor on a 2.8 and what bits need taking off to replace it.
Getting some silly quotes on time & one place say you need to remove the rhs front suspension.

Thanks

I can tell you where it is, see passenger side engine pictures at viewtopic.php?f=98&t=74594

However, that's "passenger side" on a left hand drive vehicle and I assume you are right hand drive so I cannot tell you what's in your way but clearly the steering might be. If you can get in there you will find 1 maybe 2 bolts holding the sensor heat shield in place. You can see 1 in the pictures and there is a place for another low down just below the hole in the heat shield and into the plate the engine stand is bolted to although on the engines that I've seen in that area the 2nd bolt is not there. Once the heat shield is off removal of the sensor is obvious.

On a left hand drive vehicle it's a pretty quick and easy job.
