I am getting some inner tire rub on the front sway bar at full lock. Otherwise, OK.

CRD, 2.25" lift, stock wheels, 245/70-16 tires.

I have been looking at the Rubicon Moab wheels with 5.0" of backspacing.

Tires are fairly new and I really don't want to destroy them.

Does anyone know if these wheels will move the tire outboard enough to eliminate the rub on the sway bar?

Moab's are 8" wide - most 245/70's don't like 8" rims

folks running stock wheels with wider tires typically try spacers - I'm thinking spidertrax

(note - stock wheels will run any tire that can fit in a Liberty wheelwell)

Thanks. I will see what spidertrax has to offer.

I'm very familiar with Mustang stuff, but still learning the Jeep.

Although I'm not a fan of spacers, I think I might try them and see.

I run Rubicon Moabs with 245/75 Goodyear MTR's, Frankenlift, JBA uppers and don't have rubbing issues. I did with the OEM wheel and OEM tire size. Not saying you won't if you go to the Rubicon wheel, but I don't.

I was also looking at the spidertrax but desided to go with the cragar soft 8s. I've read here on the forums that the spacers tend to get loose so once in a while you would have to take you rims off and retorque them.

245/75/16 and no rubbing what so ever.
