| Post subject: | Oil cooler torque specs?! |
Need help quick on this one. Oil cooler on 06 CRD. Installing new engine. Book calls for 47.1 NM, or 35 Ft/Lbs. Bullsh*t. that much torque on that small of bolts? Let's just say, they do not hold up to it. Wrecked 3 studs using 3 different CALIBRATED Snap-on digital torque wrenches. No way on God's green earth is that correct. Any advice here? I think they simply screwed up a decimal point. |
