So here is my setup, 06 CRD

OME lift

31x10.50x15

Crager soft 8

GDE turbo tune

Fumoto valve

Samco hoses

Euro converter


Here is my question, do I stick with my factory gears since I only have 31's or do I go to a bigger gear. This libby is my wife's DD and we use it to go camping on the trails, but nothing major.

31's don't require a gear change, and its difficult to fit any tires much larger. Gears are a matter of driveability. If your not happy with the shift points then maybe its worth the effort. But remember, its an all or nothing proposition, You can't just change one end, got to do both at the same time.

I have 4.10's, but I changed them because I was already going to be in there installing lockers front and back. Made sense to do it. Brought the shift points back to stock. I run 32" tires 235x85R16's.
