If you want a tuner for a CRD, GDE is the place to go, the costumer service is worth it alone, these guys know a lot about the CRD Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Read the info on their site. I've had the tune for quite some time - about 55k miles - and I went back for the trans tune because I was so happy. My Jeep runs better, my oil is cleaner, and I've seemed to have avoided many of the problems associated with the lifters and the intake. I'm an original owner, and I noticed the difference almost immediately. On top of that, GDE has been a great resource for our vehicle. Keith has helped me personally with questions many times. |

What part of Oz? I spent several months in Perth. I can't wait to return. I live in Michigan which is where GDE is based. I am not sure if your engine is completely the same as ours. I do know that they have great knowledge of the engine tuning due to their proximity to Chrysler. It's an investment to be sure, but I've not had any regrets buying the tune. |

X2 on gde, the first must do thing for crd and the best upgrade money can buy for this engine! Just changed the oil, looked like in the Cherokee's 4.0. Can't stop thinking how good this tune is... |

My tunes have come from driving to GDE because I'm so close, and they plug in a computer under my dash. Others will buy the flash tool and have it sent to them to install it themselves through the same port. You are dealing with software, but you need the tool to communicate with the car's computer. There are no physical upgrades. GDE just manipulated the modules on the car to function in a more efficient way. Chrysler would have done it this way themselves, but our environmental protection agency mandated that there be an EGR valve and other such devices that limit smog while shortening the lifespan of the engine. I should admit that I'm not sure what changes are required for Oz. Your engines may be better than our due to different government regulations. GDE can chime in I'm sure. |
