Hi guys just curious mechanic pulled radiator out for a clean and found it full of a hell substance said he had never seen anything like it has anybody had the same experience it's a crd 2.8 diesel trying to put a photo up but haven't worked it out yet looks like hair gel that thick but pink |

Sounds like what some have experienced when mixing DexCool with any other coolant. |

Yup... sounds like someone mixed coolants. Use the recommended G-05 coolants ONLY. DO NOT MIX. |

Yep. ^^ When I bought mine last May I had the radiator flushed. The guy was pulling crap out of there that looked like cottage cheese. Apparently the previous owner got a little confused about what to use. |

Yes, that is what Dexcool will do to these engines. Zerex G05 HOAT coolant only. You MIGHT be able to flush it, you will probably have to replace it. |

OR... Someone was trying to cure a leak with one of those miracle in a bottle additives. |
