Changed timing belt out today on 2006 CRD. Everything seemed to be perfect.
On test drive I heard a loud pop and I then had no power. Jeep runs, but no power. I replaced timing belt, water pump, thermostat, and belt tensioner.

Any ideas out there.?

Check both of your boost hoses first.
One may have simply popped loose.
Check them thoroughly for rips, or a blown out hole also.

Thank you guys for your response. You were both correct, booster hose blew off. Fixed and runs like Swiss watch!
Again tanks

I am glad for you, I did not like the opening statement. Good job on the timing! 8)

Respectfully suggest that it's a good idea to check the clamps on the system after a week or so of running.
