Really!! :roll: Diesel oil is not a excellent cleaner. Of the 100s of diesels I have worked on none of them are clean compared to a gas motor.

Are they sludged up, or do they have typical black oil, that turns black in a matter of minutes like all diesels? If the oil was not a good cleaner, it would stay clear.
