Since most of my tools are a 1000 miles away from where I'm working. Does anyone happen to know what size fitting I would need to put in the Fuel Head bleeder port so I can hook a vacuum tester to check the IP? I know there was a Miller part # in the thread, but I looked far and wide and could not find one to order. Not sure where I read about this test, but thanks to whoever mentioned it! So many people are throwing parts at these fuel problems without checking the vacuum on the pump. Just pinch the line prior to the filter head, and crank it over, looking for at least 3mm/hg if I remember correctly.. I wonder if the fuel control solenoid or MPROP could also give a low vacuum reading? Thanks for reading

Anyone know if the bleeder is standard or metric on the 2nd gen fuel head? A 3 hour round trip to parts store makes mistakes tough, and they only have the standard one. |

thanks for the sizes and the link fellas! I ended up not being able to find a metric fitting in town, but I was able to jam the tapered vacuum fitting in pump side of the fuel line (hopefully didn't put in particles in the line), and I got over the minimum reading
