Edit: I lost all the images from back then. Here she is all clean and shiny Post-Tusas-haste-Jeep-seriousified-Tusas-Camp-mud-front Got Mud? Drought in northern New Mexico seems to be over Only place the tires touch is in the front closeup-Big-tires-want-to-eat-the-fender Some are suggesting cutting the plastic back, but I'm hopeful for a more graceful solution. What did y'all do? |

Mine is pretty much the same. I'm running Discoverer ATP's. Only time they've rubbed is at full turn in reverse. I haven't been too worried about it but will be interested in what you come up with. |

I find it odd that your rubbing with the 245 75 16 and stick wheels while running the ome springs. I ran Goodyear KM2 while only having the daystar lift with absolutely no rubbing at all none zero zilch. Didn't matter if I was in reverse or completely locked. I measured from center of the hub to bottom of flare with 20.5 inches. Now my set up is different and I'm running 265 75 16 on the same rims which are aftermarket but they have the same back space as stock. |

And also I did not do any trimming while I had the 245 75 16 on. Not even the pinch weld. |

the 245 is section width - the fat part of the tire the part that rubs is tread width - not commonly mentioned and easily varies 1/2" or more depending on the tread design. I've had 3 different 245/75/16's - one never rubbed, one rubbed only on sharp turns, one rubbed on every turn last one made me hammer down the pinch weld.... |

KM2's are BFG tires,not Goodyear tires. If it was BFG's KM2's they run very small for advertised size. |

If you take a hair dryer or hot air gun to the plastic, it will change shape for you. The stock plastic rivets are a little sloppy. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk |

I have 235/75/16's, and because the plastic was a bit loose, I just turned the wheel inward, hit the plastic with a heat gun for a minute and bent it to clear the tire. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk |

I did the same up grade recently to our libby. Stock spring and shocks were gone and it was time for tires. I find the stance with a standard OME lift with the medium weight front coils to be decidedly nose down. Yours looks pretty level. Running cooper a/t IIIs with just a tad bit of rub at full lock. I thought about a strut spacer from Rocky Road that sits on top of the sturt but wasn't sure if it would be worth it or if I'd need longer bumps. Any thoughts?? |

You need the OME 790 front coils.The medium duty OME coils you got are only rated for 375lbs and your stock front coils were rated at 410lbs so that is why you are "noise down" as you bought the wrong front coils for your CRD. |
