I changed front bearings yesterday - got everything put together - went for a test drive - got a P0299 and black smoke???

so searched LOST for suggestions -

made me look some more

When I plugged in the sensor in the engine compartment

I had moved the Boost pressure solenoid - not much just enough to reach the connection behind it.

- and that movement knocked the vacuum hose to the turbo loose - it's not very tight - P0299

plugged it back in and it's happy now.....
