If the car runs and drives fine, try in few days again, the only time this had happened to me was on the Cherokee, that has absolutely nothing in common with the crd. Could be either 3 bad/improper code readers (crd is pretty finicky) either a computer bad mood to just lighten the check engine. So, did the 3 code readers actually connected to the ecu? |

It's not uncommon on the CRD for non-OEM code readers to not "talk" to all the computer systems on the CRD. In fact most of them, GDE's included, only talk to the ECU hence they cannot read/pull some CEL codes. If the vehicle is driving ok there is a reasonable chance that the CEL relates to a one time issue in which case it will clear on its own after like 5 drive cycles. An example of this type of code is the CEL that can get set if you experience an engine stall shortly after starting up due to the transmission fluid drain back problem. If the CEL does not clear on its own after a few days best drop by a DCJ dealer or independent shop with code reader that is fully compatible with the CRD to pull/clear the code. |

I am very satisfied with the torque pro application on android reading codes whereas my other handhelds could not read them . torque pro actually looks up the CEL online and returns a description of the code along with the code itself. Highly recommend it |
