I know there have been many threads on here about people starting to swap a manual transmission in their CRD, and then giving up so I'm hoping there are some members here that have parts they want to get rid off. Looking for london taxi flywheel / clutch chrysler pn 52104294AA bellhousing NSG370 or NV3550 trans 2005 manual trans BCM Rear driveline, wiring chunks, etc. Long shot I know, but if I can scavenge someone else's abandoned project we could both win. I'll be doing a writeup when I get started on it, which will be soon-ish since the jeep has a non-funtioning trans in it now.... |

I think sir Sam may have some ideas about the swap, he has some old posts about this swap. But isn't cheaper to just buy a rebuilt transmission? The 6th from the nsg370 is shorter than the 5th from 545rfe, and the tow is also less. |
