Hi all;

I have searched, and I do see inquiries about using dash command for iOS. But I don't see any reviews, is there anyone out there using this? If so how does it work? What obd connector did you use?

If not, which I believe is the case, why not? Looking for known issues.

I have a GoPoint GL1 that connects by cable. Haven't played with it too much, but it's properly read and cleared the few codes that the Jeep has thrown over the years.

You can add all sorts of gauges in Dash Command including MAF. It shows mine runs at about 17 g/s at 85F ambient outside temp, idled for >1 min, 770rpm, 1250' elevation which is probably about right for my 90K engine.

I use Dashcommand and it works fine. I bought the cheapo ELM Wifi on Amazon and it connects and stays connected fairly consistently. This is the wifi OBD adapter I use: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AQ99UQ0/

The app itself used to cost $50 :shock:, which I refused to pay. Now that it is reasonably priced, it is worth having. I also use some of the free OBD apps, but they are nowhere near as nice or consistent, but they will work for MAF readings.

For those of you using dash command I have one question. I have been trying to figure out how to get a good MAF reading, but cannot seem to get one. How and what reading do you use?

What do you mean a "good MAF reading"? I go to the "data grid" button and just use the calc MAF value. I'm not sure what the difference is between the three types of MAF values that are there (but I sure hope mine isn't the other readings because they are very low).

Well while trying to read that reading it is at 208.14g/s

That is really strange. It is not reading right, or your ECU is not communicating something right. You're sure you're reading MAF and not another value, yeah?

Yeah I cleaned the MAF plug on the air box It was throwing the mad sensor code even plugged in. Seeing how it's always unplugged may have not had a good connection. After cleaning I was playing more with dash command and got other readings which was while I was driving. Now stopped I cannot get any readings so resetting ecu by unplugging battery is next step.
