Ever since one shop flushed my tranny, I've had steady leaking from one or both of those stupid fittings they use between the hoses and the cooler. Can I get an amen? Or am I the only one?

They tried replacing the O ring, but it still leaks. Since I may have to do some fairly major engine work, I'm almost inclined to see about replacing the fittings on the cooler with barbs and just clamping the hoses on. Anyone else tried anything like that? I have no idea whether that might work or not.

Cheers,

If you can replace with barbs fine. If not just spend ca. $50 for an good aftermarket tranny cooler and bypass the OEM cooler entirely there are bunches of posted options, if you want links send me an email.
