I really like these wheels:

But I would need adaptors/spacers to make them fit.
I've heard that wheel spacers are a bad idea.
What do you think? Is it worth it?

Just depends, I run spidertrax wheel spacers and when installed correctly and checked when you rotate tires it should be fine. But on the other end of the spectrum there are guys who would never run them and think they are a bad idea. It's really what you feel ok with.

I currently run 1.75" Synergy spacers. It's not ideal and it's better to just get tires with that backspace. As long as you do your due diligence. Torque properly, use loctite, dont use generic brand spacer, properly check them at specific interval you would be fine.

Of course I have spacers not adapters. There is a difference but the same guidelines should still apply.

Both are identical, just the "spacer" retains the original bolt pattern and "adapters" change the bolt pattern, same contruction, same design, same materials, look the same, and all that.

They are used soo loosely.....

"Spacers" BAD BAD BAD

Adapters or "spacers" Not the best but can make it work with good parts and good maintenance practices
