Anyone here have direct dealings with this company in England? I am trying to get a cylinder head from them, but they seem uninterested in dealing more effectively with the 8 hour time difference between us. :|

George (the guy there) seems to know his stuff, but also seems always in a hurry and can't talk. From what I can gather, he bought some number of test engines from VM Motori, and is parting them out.

Try ID parts. They have them and no 8hr difference.

Oh, I know they have them. But they also want a good deal more for them.

Yeah they're a bit of a pain, but the product is good. I just stayed up late and called them on my land line. I was able to order the part with my credit card (I did have a little trouble with my bank blocking the transaction). Once that was cleared up, the cylinder head was on the way. I also ordered the three main bearing carriers from them later. That time an exchange of emails got it done. This seems like a small mom/pop operation, so I'm grateful they deal with us yanks at all.

Definitely a small operation, I got up at an ungodly hour to talk with them on the phone, it took a couple calls that day to get a credit card issue sorted out but then everything was great.

Ok. Thanks. They seem like good folk, but I guess I'm spoiled by service I get from folks like IDParts.

You don't pay VAT, and you may have to remind them of that.
Shipping on the other hand... May be the same cost as VAT would have been.

When I bought from them, it was just for the set of rockers. IDparts wasn't carrying those yet, and I got just about the same cost after shipping as Corey is charging now for them.

Too bad his suppliers of cylinder heads aren't as equally agreeable.

On ID parts they had my stuff sent out quickly.

I or them may have made a mistake on a sensor i was after Cam sensor and have got crank sensor delivered ill check my order.

My hose is about 3 inches short at least thats what my wife says, I meant the boost hose from intercooler to turbo?

Your wife said your hose is 3 inch short? Lol, sorry about that, it's just funny the way I read it... Seriously, why would the turbo hose be 3 inch shorter? Did you order turbo hoses? I haven't heard of anybody with similar issues, would you please clarify?

Is it a stock oem replacement or aftermarket? If aftermarket, what brand?

AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

CAC is not the brand - it is the name of the thing that end of the hose is supposed to connect to. :ROTFL:
Charge Air Cooler - The intercooler.

Those look like the stock hoses, the new design b/c the Chinese finger puzzle is held on with that fat band of heat shrink at the end.

That is the old CAC hose underneath and the new one on top, but there is no way the new one would reach its a lot shorter each end.

Looking at it again, I can see the length differences now that I missed before - Not sure what happened there, can you return it for a refund?

I'd go with the Samco or Mishimoto hoses anyway, but after a goof like that one... I don't know where you got that one, but I wouldn't buy from them again.

Btw, where is that green from? Hopefully not some antifreeze... And yea, mishimoto or samco are the best. Unless you go with solid pipe.
