If they are leaking where the quick disconnect attach to the cooler I believer there are repair kits.
jeepdan - not to be difficult but are you sure what you are getting is top rated transmission hose. I ask because often the cheap auto parts places are not all that up on hoses so they might be selling you 1) heater hose which won't do at all; 2) fuel hose but the cheaper versions that I've seen die by cracking when used with gasoline in like a year; 3) marine grade all fuel rated fuel line which might work and is the minimum one should use as fuel line; or 4) transmission hose (I would be sure to only purchase name brand not house brand).
That's a valid question.
I always ask for USA made hose for auto transmission fluid.
Recently I have been getting Transmission Cooler Hose, USA made by Thermoid.
But, after around a year, the synthetic transmission fluid starts seeping out under the clamped hose connection. Then, I tighten the clamps and get a little longer use.
It seems as if the hot synthetic transmission fluid softens the rubber.
I have this problem on both CRDs and my 98 Grand Cherokee
