I've had a bit of a metal clanking sound coming from the bell housing area. Figured I was starting on the TC (not sure if it's original). After turning green looking at the cost of replacing all the tranny issues (TC, Pump/trans Go, labor) I figured I'd try to check the flexplate bolts. PITA!!! But it can be done and the bolts turned about 110* with a 3/8 ratchet. Sound is gone , but has recently started up (very minor). I figure I'll have to do grime battle again, but I'll loctite the flexplate bolts and be done with it.

So, loctite blue or red?

I can't correct the thread title, but I promise I English well!

Blue. They come new with blue pre-applied.
