Help. CRD just quit

Hey everyone. Looking for some help. This happened while my wife was driving. She said it just stopped on her. I recently changed the fuel filter as the water on fuel light was on. Changed the filter, the light stayed on for a bit then went out. Been driving for a couple weeks and after she drove all morning it just quit. I changed the filter and bled the system and still nothing. It turns over fine but won't run. I'm getting a P1261 code on my GoPoint scanner but there is no description what it is. Anyone have any ideas? Is there another filter that could be blocked stopping the fuel? Thanks for the help

P1261 - glow plug #1 control circuit low.
There is a mesh sock filter inside the tank. If your filter head pumps up good and tight and you bleed the filter head and get no air, filter in tank is probably OK? Bet you got some air in the fuel supply to the injection pump.... :wink:

Thanks for the code explanation. I found my problem with not starting. Turns out the fuse blew. Replaced it and all is well.
