I just read the noob guide again. I noticed a reply several pages in. The author said he unplugged the fuel heater wire plug. What does this accomplish?

If you have the oem fuel filter assembly, it prevents burning the connector seal with resultant air leakage - if you have the upgraded replacement it just prevents warming the fuel - the heater is necessary in areas with long periods of snow\cold weather - not so much down south where temps seldom drop below 40* - pics in the NOOB GUIDE depict the oem and upgraded versions
