I'm a little afraid right now. I started my Jeep at work yesterday and it indicated a low coolant level. I drove a little bit and the light went off. I assume because it expanded with the heat. It's never gone on in the 10 years I've owned it. I'm obviously afraid that I've blown a head gasket, but it doesn't overheat. (edit: I did overheat for one hot second this summer while stuck in traffic. It went a small hair past top dead center and then I began to move and it went down)

When I got home, my Jeep was leaking what I think is trans fluid from the front of the radiator and it's covering the cross members behind. I think I can tell the difference between trans fluid and antifreeze. Is it possible that my radiator is leaking though or am I just screwed with two expensive problems at the same time?
The radiator is in the back right?

okay I may have solved the trans leak. The line that runs back to the trans on the driver's side has rubbed against the cross member under the radiator and it looks like there is a hole. I hope that's an easy bolt on item. It may still be coming from the cooler itself though and just running down the line from higher up.

I still can't explain the low coolant level though. I have a vibration in my front end and I was going to take it in for an inner axle leak so perhaps I'll sell a kidney and have them fix everything.

For the record, I'm currently dealing with:
A leaking inner seal on the driver's side axle shaft.
I've removed the front drive shaft for the second time because the boot on the CV joint has cracked AGAIN
My fuel tank has something rolling around in it which I assume is the sending unit because my fuel level is all over the map
My front end shakes and grinds and I'm thinking I have bad ball joints or a bearing

I hope I don't add a head gasket to this list.

After 10 years rubber hoses get brittle and hose clamps get weak. There are lots of ways for the engine to be low on coolant that don't include head gasket.

I think the root of all your problems was posting on this site that your CRD hadn't ever had any issues.
