Hi all,
While at the mechanics for head gasket repair my liberty sat for 6+ months with a dead battery.
Now the trans isn't communicating with the computer. Mechanic says it needs to be re flashed.
Does that seem right or is there something else to look for? THANKS in advance!!

Make sure the battery is ~13.1v and take it for a normal slow drive - all should resume as before

If battery is less than 12.6v, starter is liable to not crank after you shut engine off

Went Sunday and picked it up. Starts and idles fine but will not rev in park or neutral.
Put it in gear and it will move around but barley. it still doesn't rev. Shows codes U0146,
PO683, P0460, 50530. The worst part is I drove it to the shop but had to trailer it home.
Thanks for any help!

u0146 can bus comm failure
P0460 fuel level sensor via can bus failure
P0530 AC head pressure sensor failure (might just be disconnected)
P0683 Glow plug relay diagnostic failure

Not sure any of these codes lead to no power, might be something else wrong. Did you pay these people? Why would they not keep it until fixed properly.

Any help is appreciated and a good CRD liberty tech in NE Pennsylvania.

Sounds like another FC gateway module malfunction, possibly just oxidized connector resulting in bad contact - R&R the connectors, see if that helps - FC gateway module is beneath the battery
