I have the following codes that just appeared, P0299 and P0401. Does this mean I need a new EGR and FCV? Could there be any other causes? The Jeep drives and runs great. The only indication of a problem is that the MIL is on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If a fault is detected a code is set and when appropriate, don't ask me but I know some codes don't trigger a MIL/CEL, the MIL/CEL comes one. If the fault is a one time thing then after like 3-5 drive cycles the MIL/CEL will go off and IIRC the code clears. |
