Hi Folks,

Time for new tires. I am thinking about 235/75 R16 on my stock rims with no lift. Anyone have success with this size tire (no rubbing etc)?

Diameter is a bit bigger than the stock 225/75 R16's.

When I first purchased my CRD a couple of years ago, it had 235/75/16 street tread Michelins on stock sagged suspension with no rubbing of any kind... :)

I Ran a set of silent armors in that size before they stopped making them. They rubbed barely on the back of the front tire... just enough to polish the plastic splash shield when turned sharply. I ran them with no problems other than that ... once they wore down they didnt rub anymore, It wasn't a problem.

I run that size in a BF Goodrich long trail. I get a slight rub at full lock going over bumps with my original saggy suspension. It does not rub enough to harm the tires or the wheel wells though.

I can't wait to get an OME lift and put on the moabs that have been collecting dust in my garage for too long.

I run them and when I first got them they rubbed slightly on the plastic inside the fenderwells. A few minutes with a heat gun and some bending fixed that. 2006 Jeep Liberty CRD Limited.

I ran that tire size for years, no rubbing issues at all. It does correct the speedometer to within 1/2 mph by several GPS units. Micelleins, Toyo never had a problem.

I ran that size in a Cooper ATR before I had a lift installed with no issues. Still no issues after the lift too. :D

I'm running the hankook dynapro ATM's in a 235/75 R16. My suspension is sagging and still no rubbing. I had these on my last CRD too. Love em.
