A hose randomly showed up underneath my jeep and I don't know where it came from. I used my four wheel drive for the rainy weather but I don't know if it is linked to this. I have two pics on here: http://www.pinterest.com/fettersp/jeep/

Cannot be sure, pinterest pop up is in the way, but that looks like a hose dangling down by the front of the transmission just behind the firewall. If so it's the tranny breather tube and that white thing on the end is probably a one way valve to keep air from getting in. Run it up as high as you can get on the firewall in the engine bay and zip tie it to a handy spot.

pap is correct, it is the vent hose for the transmission or transfer case. Route it up high on the firewall and tywrape it to something stationary!

Looks like my hose came loose and is dangling. Will zip tie it up, but it looks like the white tip may have tapped the exhaust and melted it. Anybody have a picture of what it should look like or better yet the part number?

transfer case hose/vent - 52105882AB

Or simply use some 3/8 hose available at any parts store...route it up the firewall and ziptie it to something stationary. Any 3/8 hose vent/cap would work, parts store should have them?
