Anyone here own the Innova 3140 scanner? http://www.innova.com/en-US/Product/Detail/3140d Can you confirm if it can read transmission codes on our CRUD. "Retrieves OEM-enhanced and transmission diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) on 1996 & newer (OBD2) vehicles – foreign and domestic, as well as the most popular 1982 to 1995 (OBD1) vehicles*." |

I have the 3160, I have not tried in a while, but I think it was not able to connect? |

Most scanners are a bit hit and miss. I've got an Innova 3100 which kinda works. It can take multiple attempts to read and clear codes but does eventually get there. Problem is it's only reading the generics. |
