emergency/ hand brake when you pull it up hard some times the handle seems to slip jump up. Took a quick look today and seems to be some form of clutch. The cable don't seem to be connected direct to the lever. Is there any mods for this, seems an unusual design. Is it a serviceable item or complete replacement. |

Jeepster's 'how to' adjust the inside - and a link at the bottom of his post on how to adjust the brake drums http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=187268#p187268 |

The adjustment is fine, Its when you pull it up hard sometimes the clutch seem to slip. I guess it requires replacing but was asking if any one here had modified it or repaired it. |

Quick update lever was fine problem was a seized up brake shoe operator thing what the cable attaches too inside the rotor/drum. Easily missed when just adjusting the shoes? |
