Did you search the idparts website? They are listed there.
If you search glow plug it will list every one they have.

I would only get the very latest version. Earlier ones have failed prematurely.

IDparts is the place, first use the boxes to restrict your search to the Jeep CRD, then just type in glow plug. The etecno plugs will show up.

IDparts is out of stock. You can always get the ceramic ones from VM Specialists.

If you want, you may get the etecno straight from Europe:

http://www.dieselglowplug.com/gx3123-di ... -2032.html

That's where I got mine, prior to id parts having them. Link was provided to me by Hexus.

You can expect about 5-10 days delivery time. Oh, btw, they are still working fine, 1.5 years after replacement.

Yeah, its obviously that time of year when everyone needs them most. I waited too long and found Idparts out of stock too. I was able to order them from Diesel Glow Plug out of Europe and I'm waiting for their delivery. They are the only other place I could find that had them. The price is nearly identical, even with shipping.

Good luck!

Ordered mine today from idparts as 4 set with harness a little more but needed them asap.
delivery tomorrow...

timing belt, water pump, idlers, tensioners, thermostat, all new hoses going on this weekend.
just as glow plug # 2 failed so changing them all out at same time.

When it rails it snows really heavy here now days, plus coldddddd 6 degrees.

IDParts is showing the individual ones Out of Stock as FLman said but the kit shows in stock but the is a note "The Etecno glow plugs are currently back ordered until early January at the earliest."
Kit - http://www.idparts.com/catalog/product_ ... ts_id=4649
Individual - http://www.idparts.com/catalog/product_ ... ts_id=3816

Hopefully your order squeaked in before they were out of stock.

I put a set of 4 in when I did my Head Gasket , and Rockers a few weeks ago , but ordered them parts back in Sept .
-14 C or 6 F here in Southern Ontario over night tonight , I didn't plug the Jeep in as I am curious on the cold start .

How long do the glow plugs run normally ? And can they be key cycled ?
On the VW TDI , I can cycle the key a few times for the GP's . At -14 they would probably light up for 5 to 10 seconds

I'm fd..
idparts sent welcome email for making an account via email.
idparts sent conformation of ordered via email.
idparts sent tracking info on order via email..

Got home from work and greg idparts left a voice mail saying they shipped the order overnight without the glow plugs due to being on back order till Jan '15. :banghead:

wtf, why ship overnight the harness without the glow plugs over night.... makes no sense!
cant use one without the other... :banghead:
and why did they not send this info via email like all the other messages?,
why did they let me order it with a back order info like on individule glow plugs?
thought they had them as a kit due to no backorder note or info....
pissed me off. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :5SHOTS:

Get them from Europe, they'll be in your mailbox before Christmas and cancel idparts.com glow plugs order.

layback,
I noticed this same phenom too, not only with idparts, but other online stores too.
... you get all the email notifications, and the 'order shipped' notification.
I thought that was odd, since it was 1 am Monday morning! methinks most business's have 'auto' type responses, and when the actual 'order' is sent to shipping.. the system sends out the auto response. Too bad someone didn't 'tell' the system about the lack of parts! You'd think their inventory software would've calculated that?!?!? I'm sure the lackey who packed the box had no idea what that harness was even for!
I'm glad for idparts, but they aren't perfect either.
Glad to hear you've found other avenues. Keeping that info on hand here too! Rancherman

Good question. I would've sworn I read "2 seconds max" somewhere, then you crank and start. Then the computer re energizes them at various levels according to ambient? I may be totally wrong.

There is a glow plug cycle chart in the FSM. They can be double cycled but I have no opinion on whether or not that actually helps; if you use the plug in block heater the answer doesn't matter.
