Hello All, so while reviewing the sloppy work that the previous owner did on my CRD I am not sure that I have all original or accurate hardware holding my exhaust manifold and Turbo on. Can you guys and galls share info ( pics, parts diagrams and or verbal) on what the Original hardware is/was for the CRD. the size and type of: Exhaust manifold to head Turbo to exhaust and while I am at it, the mounting of the heat shields and the turbo feed and drain lines. Thank you all in advance |

Go to CRD Tech page and search for "pict" for engine pictures |

Also, idparts.com sells the nuts, lines, etc, they may have the sizes also. |

I have already seen the Engine pics, but wanted the confirmation that It all looks good. The ID parts pages is what prompted me to ask. They show the Turbo Studs under exhaust , but under turbo they show all the lines , gaskets, and some Nuts. Are those nuts the ones for the turbo or for the exhaust manifold? Should I order 4 or 16? |

Could you post a pic of your exhaust? We can then better determine if or what is wrong. Thanks |

I cannot comment on the exhaust manifold studs/nuts but suspect they are similar to the turbo ones. The OEM turbo studs are very weak and WILL break during removal unless you are very careful and use lots of penetrating lube. This is agrivated by OEM use of what I call jamb (warpped threads) nuts. IMHO just get grade 5 studs from a local parts store and regular nuts/lock washers and skip the jamb nuts; worked fine for me. |
