Funny, now that I own one, the number of libertys I see on the road have jumped! Even my grandkids have gotten into the 'jeep spotters club'.. But I also noticed I am the only testicled (lemme check... YEP. still there!) one behind the wheel... Are these libertys so dang 'cute' that chicks are the majority owners???

Only the 2.5\3.7L gasser versions - tho we got a few here, seems like very few chicks want to appear manly enuff to get behind the wheel of the Diesel version, eh................

Funny. The sales mix on the Liberty was roughly 65% female. Not a bad thing, the Liberty is very safe on the road as compared to most other **ITboxes, so the ladies will make it home after driving.

Let me see, temperamental, high maintenance, high running costs, poor temperature regulation, has hissy fits for no apparent reason.

Yep, definitely a perfect match for a woman.

Yup, our CRD is my wife's. I still prefer my ALH Golf TDI (which she hates because its a manual tranny).

My wife Drives her CRD proudly, in fact she has come accustom to men running out of the gas station to tell her she is putting diesel in her jeep. She calmly looks at them and says yep i need to, if I don't I wont make it home. Then sometimes "they" are still lost, but usually it ends up with talking about the jeep.

That happened to me (= not woman) few years ago in hillbilly county of Trumbull OH, they stopped the diesel pump and told me that's the diesel not gas... Lol. Good intentions, no doubt, they couldn't believe it's a diesel jeep...
