My post copied from one of the other versions of this thread. You need to be more specific: 1. roughly where is the antifreeze leaking and how much 2. what codes? 3. P0299 is commonly associated with a turbo vacuum supply problem so do you lack boost and/or do you have lots of black smoke on acceleration? |

Ok I've been getting a light on my dash stating low coolant. over the last week I have been putting a gallon of antifreeze in I can't determine where is leaking from. So I decided to go to the car wash and hoes down the area around the turbo that seems to be where the fluid is leaking from. I turn my engine back on and the check engine light comes on running rough not much acceleration a lot of black smoke. Codes are PO299 po610 and p1252.thank you |

The little black solenoid that allows vacuum to boost solenoid is failed. This part needs to be replaced or by passed. This is a common failure mode on the CRD and if you search the forum you will find pictures, part numbers and more info. |

Idiots. 4606226AC FYI P0299 can also be a collapsed/melted vacuum line where it runs along the firewall under the coolant tank. |

You can order it here, and they are a good source of any other CRD parts you might need. http://idparts.com/catalog/advanced_sea ... &x=24&y=12 |
