I was looking at how to measure cam shaft wear and some were saying to measure the diameter and the lobe length with a micrometer and substract. But then you need to know the factory specifications ... which as far as I found this engine has almost no available documentation.
A lot of people seem to think visible wear is a good way to go, but just for my amusement id like to know the specifications for lobe lift.

Anyone have any ideas ? maybe someone has a pair of new cams around they could measure ?

If you have scoured the FSM to no avail, I would contact Keith. Best way to measure is with a dial indicator between centers, like in a lathe. Zero on the back side and read total lift on the nose.
