I have read the guide

Code:
http://theblakbox.com/lost/evic/

Then found THESE part #'s on this site:

56010520AD OR 56010527AD

Those are not listed in the guide. I want to call/goto you pick em' junkyards this year and try to find the proper one.

I would like the last one in the guide. Has TPMS, Ambient Air Temp will work and all the BCM programming stuff.

What part number(s) exactly will I need and/or year/make/model vehicles will work?

Most on Ebay are ONLY the EVIC, no plastic bezel, pigtail and ambient temp sensor.

Thanks!

If you get in touch with eBay sellers that appear to have 2005-2006 Libertys that they're parting, you can specifically ask that they include the pigtail and bracket. Also, they may not even have the EVIC listed, so just start writing to ones that have LTD 05-06 Libertys and see what you can find. That was what I did and got everything for $50. Make sure you confirm that it is one of those two part numbers though as the earlier ones have some issues either with TPMS or with temp sensor.

If you search around here, there are several threads on the details of all this. In short, if you don't have the right wheel sensors or if your BCM is not factory programmed for premium TPMS, you won't get the individual tire readout on your EVIC. All the other functions will work great provided you get everything hooked up right. Search around a bit and you'll find lots of information. I think I might have had some previous posts about this install when I did it.

Thanks..so the part # above are the same EVIC as the LAST ones at the link I posted above?

The link above does a great job with install I think. It seems VERY simple. I just wanted to know if I could use 300's, Cirrus's, Grand Cherokee's and such like the document says?

Then I also need the whole bezel with EVIC, including dome lights

Your best bet is to stick strictly with those part numbers, which seem to be specific to the 2005-2006 Liberties. It will come with bezel, lights, etc. (but your luck getting the right color might be limited--I also had a few bad bulbs on the buttons and had to get those ordered from dealer). The bracket and pigtail you should ask for. You could also try one of those part finders sites. I don't recall the name of the good ones at the moment.

Color of bezel should not be an issue. From what I found the plastic interior parts are all off tan. If not, I can order the proper paint form the dealer.

Lots of helpful stuff in this forum string: http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/f202/how-in ... post307116

It pretty much covers every issue you could encounter if you have the patience to read the whole thing. For example, that single post above talks about some of the lighting wiring which has sometimes been backwards in different evic/liberty combos.

Nothing online for those two part numbers.

So, am I correct that the below would work for all available functions 9TPMS, keyfob programming..etc)..only thing that would be missing is ambient temp?

Code:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/JEEP-GRAND-CHEROKEE-300M-LIBERTY-EVIC-INSTANT-MPG-5-TPMS-OVERHEAD-99-04-CHRYSLER-/201255341512?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2edbc0cdc8&vxp=mtr

TPMS probably won't work because the sensors are different for years 2004 and earlier. Also, what do you have? Sport or LTD? Sport isn't wired for the sensors anyway. It gets very confusing.

If I were you, I'd start contacting wreckers through eBay who have LTD 2005-2006 Liberties on their lots (can be gassers of course), and asking if they have the part you want. That is how I found mine and it was guaranteed to work with my car.

Found answer on the wiki..however, it does not denote a part number for the midline

The base version (56010520AD) features a compass, temperature readout, fuel statistics, and since 2005, a low drive tire and low spare tire notification. The mid-line version features everything available in the base model, plus three HomeLink garage opener buttons. The high-end version (56010527AD) features everything available in the base and mid models, plus individual tire PSI readouts

They are visually the same and almost functionally identical. There is some confusion as to which of those is a "premium" EVIC that shows the individual tire readouts, but it seems that you have to have that option programmed from the factory so it doesn't matter which of the EVICs you have, it won't work. I don't even think it can be turned on with DRBIII.

I have like 30 bookmarked links when I was researching this whole thing. If I can find an easy way to send them to you, I will.

option programmed from the factory so it doesn't matter which of the EVICs you have, it won't work. I don't even think it can be turned on with DRBIII.

This seems like a challenge!

To the EVIC pile!

I couldn't find my EVIC bin. Hope the GF didn't toss it without me knowing.

It works.... I did it in my 2005 sport, evic works great...but I connected it properly with the original harness that connects to the rear of the car.

I connected the connector that came with the uncut harness to the connection in the back near the tail gate. No issues... the connector is already there at the rear driver side.

Get everything, all the harnesses even the one that connects to the rear view mirror and get the rear view mirror too.

Lower the head liner just a little along the drivers side and you will see the channel where the harness drops into.

It will take approximately a Saturday morning.

This you tube video is not exactly the right one ..but it relates to how to remove the headliner and get to the harness https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acm-Z6Z0w1M&t=11s

If the rearview mirror is not available, then I have one.

So by doing it this way, you were able to get the TPMS individual readings to work also?
