So I Iknow this is very vague but what is the round thing slightly above the turbo to tthe right ? I was looking ands it's connected to the turbo ? It's also connected to the vacuum pump. Is that the oil supply for the turbo ? |

If this thing you are referring to is large and galvanized metal, that is the vacuum motor for the variable vanes in the turbo. If it is black plastic, then it is the CCV puck, and it is not connected to the vacuum system. Do not attempt to adjust the rod under the silver vacuum motor to the turbo vanes, it is calibrated at the turbo factory for safety limits to protect the turbo and your motor. |
