In the interest of saving some money, is it possible to replace just the bushings on the lower control arms instead of replacing the whole thing?

Yes its possible.
But the effort required to do so makes it not worth it.

Are you sure you need new lower control arm bushings?
I've got 220k miles on mine and they are still ok.

Well I guess I'm not 100% sure the bushings on the lower control arms are bad, but they look suspect. What do you guys think?

You can't really tell from the second photo, but the bolt that goes through the bushing seems to be below-center, i.e. sagging due to the deteriorated bushing. But I admittedly know very little about suspension stuff...

**EDIT**: For the lower ball joint, do I want Moog part number K3199 ??

That bushing in the picture is where the front shock mount clevis attaches to the lower control arm. It’s supporting all the weight of the front end.
It’s natural for it to look slightly below centered.

Ok that makes sense. So even though it's got cracks, it should be ok?

How about the lower ball joint? Moog K3199 is what I want?

Thanks! However it looks like those bushings for the sway bar are ok on my Jeep. No visible cracks. It's all the other bushings on the lower control arm that look questionable to me. I'm going to also replace the sway bar end links (Detroit Axle brand, unless you guys convince me otherwise...?) which should take care of a few more bushings.

I guess I'll wait on the lower control arms. That will save some money for now.
