definitely, I towed another CRD over 1,000 miles, over Donner Pass, and many other long, tall mountains to Idaho. With the other CRD I pulled 7500 pounds on the same trip. The brakes weren't adequate, and I was limited to about 55 mph, but it was doable. The crd with the GDE tune shuddered but survived. The stock crd with no tune still didn't shudder at all, and the CRD it was hauling had a cab that was packed with a few hundred extra pounds.
