 Post subject: P1261 and Etecno resistance

Looks like one of my Etecno plugs has gone south, at least according to the computer. Can someone verify which cylinder 1261 code should belong to? I checked #1 (closest to radiator) and I get a reading of about 3 ohms.

If you have not, try disconnecting the 4-wire GP plug in the middle of the harness, measure each GP for reference - plug pinout is in FSM section 8W

Oh, that's right. I forgot there was an intermediate connector. Thanks!

P1261 is #1 but don't forget that some of the early '05's had the harness back to front so this might actually be #4 in your case.

3 ohms sounds high for a cold plug. I'm not familiar with the Etecno1 plugs but I'd expect them to be in the <1 ohm range.
