It has become apparent that silicone boost hoses are a must-have item. The OE hoses can't hold up to the CRD boost pressure without leaking. Plus, the oil vapor from the crankcase vent has been eating the hoses from the inside out.

These hoses are only available in black and have the IDParts.com logo on both the intercooler inlet and outlet hoses.

Yes, clamps are a must, so we include them. The OEM worm gears were pathetic.

Silicone hoses are such a rip off so it's always great to see some competition come along.

Will you have just some decent spring type clamps available for purchase for those of us who have already installed other brands of silicone hoses and had to reuse the pathetic screw clamps....
Thanks for all that you do for our little CRD family... :SOMBRERO:

ID Parts has been a real blessing for us Obsolete Dionsaur owners. If they sold beer, socks, underwear, and Dodge Cummins parts, I'd never need any place else.

You are overdue on the timing belt too. I'm going to be coming to the NE soon, want me to install it all for you?

Good question! Our system charges cards immediately, so the date you order will be the date you are charged.

Just preordered the turbo hoses, best deal I've seen yet. Based on ID Parts' reputation on this forum, they should be good quality.

Also picked up their timing belt and oil change kit, both good deals. Took a hit on the pocketbook, though.

I would join in but I got a set of OE hoses still in the box I bought a couple of years ago, so one set of spares is enough.

I would have like to have you do it but you weren't in the area when I was ready. I was very Nervous about letting this go too long. I had the parts and the cash all set up to do it in mid April last year. I talked to several dealers and Diesel car and truck shops. I ended up having Susquehanna Dodge, Jeep do it with parts from IDparts. Their Mechanic had done several and they actually have customers that bring in CRD's regularly. They did mine in May at about 94,000 miles, no issue since and only charged me $635 in labor.

Cevans - Thanks, charging me right away is no problem. just don't want to use may debit card for something that isn't going to show up for a while.

Best deal that I know of was about a year ago, mishimotos blue with 110 bucks a set shipped, if memory serves right... That was a sweet deal, I got them as spare just bc of the price...

I've done a bit of research on prices on the different types of turbo hoses for our CRDs, and I've never seen the Mishimotos anywhere for under $200. Here are the average prices I have found from the different manufacturers:

- Mishimoto: ~$250
- Samco: ~$280
- Mr. Bob's: ~$400 (per my phone call with Bob himself)

Do you have a link for the Mishimotos at $110? People would like to have that!

Oh, sorry shaq, I was just ranting about this, the sale I believe was over 1 year ago, the price isn't valid anymore... Idparts has the best price that I know for silicone hoses.

The sale was on July 1st 2014, it was for the blue ones only, and they have never been that cheap since then. I bought 3 sets for a total of $309, which included $25 for shipping. So it was $95 for each set. But again, it was only one day and that day has long gone. Thanks to the guys that gave me the heads up!
