I was heading home last night. Had been driving about 55-60 mph Everything was fine but when I took a ramp onto a highway Slowed down To about 25 mph on the ramp and tired to very lightly accelerate onto the highway when I hit 50 mph I felt a clunk and lost power with my foot to the floor I could only do about 50-55 mph it did not smoke at all and it had a vibration. Pulled to the side of the road and it had a clunking/ clattering noise even in park. I shut it off and restarted it now everything is running fine. I am not to sure what this could be, any ideas?

I had the exact same issue but mine was not from a slight acceleration mine was the torque converter slipping Until I shut it off I could only do 20mph. Since then I have changed fluid and filters havnt had a problem again and this happened 10k miles ago or so.
